Alabama High School Basketball - Pike County ripped by Georgiana
December 20, 2022: Georgiana, AL 36033 The Georgiana Panthers basketball team scored 80 points and held the visiting Pike County Bulldogs to 58 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Panthers now sport a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Luverne for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 22. Georgiana will battle a Tigers team coming off a 48-44 non-league loss to Calhoun (Letohatchee, AL). The Tigers record now stands at 1-3.
The Bulldogs (2-6) will now prepare for their contest against Opp (Opp, AL). The Bobcats enter the 3A Area 4 contest with a 5-7 record. In their last contest, Opp was routed by Smiths Station (Smiths, AL), 57-49, in a non-league contest.
