Pennsylvania High School Basketball - West Scranton fells Greater Nanticoke Area
December 20, 2022: Nanticoke, PA 18634 West Scranton Invaders (Scranton, PA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Greater Nanticoke Area Trojans (Nanticoke, PA), 65-57 in a non-league bout.
With the win, West Scranton upgrades its record to 4-2 on the season. The Invaders travel to Mid Valley (Throop, PA) to play the Spartans in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 22. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 4-1. Mid Valley won 57-45 in their recent non-league bout against Scranton (Scranton, PA)
Next up, the Trojans play the Wyoming Seminary College Prep Blue Knights (Kingston, PA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 22. Greater Nanticoke Area will attempt to upgrade on its 4-3 season record. The Blue Knights go into the bout with a 3-2 record after their 57-40 non-league loss to Southern Columbia Area (Catawissa, PA).
