December 20, 2022: Maysville, KY 41056 The Greenwood Gators basketball team (Bowling Green, KY), was overwhelmed 77-50 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Mason County Royals (Maysville, KY)
The Royals now possess a 7-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bracken County for a District 39 battle on Tuesday, December 27. Mason County will confront a Polar Bears team coming off a 74-68 non-league win over Paul Laurence Dunbar (Lexington, KY). The Polar Bears record now stands at 7-1.
The Gators (1-8) will now prepare for their battle against Fleming County (Flemingsburg, KY). The Panthers come into the non-league battle with a 6-4 record. In their last battle, Fleming County was overwhelmed by Butler (Louisville, KY), 91-60, in a non-league battle.
