Herriman Mustangs (West Herriman, UT) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host McDowell Trojans (Erie, PA), 72-53 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Herriman upgrades its record to 4-3 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Hoover (Hoover, AL) to play the Buccaneers in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 21. The Buccaneers go into the bout with a record of 13-2. Hoover won 71-57 in their recent non-league bout against St. Joseph Regional (Montvale, NJ)

Next up, the Trojans play the Erie Royals (Erie, PA) in a District 10 Region 6 bout, on Friday, January 6. McDowell will attempt to upgrade on its 5-2 season record.
