The Utopia Buffaloes topped the host La Pryor Bulldogs basketball team by a final score of 53-44 in Tuesday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Buffaloes face the D'Hanis Cowboys (D'Hanis, TX) in a 1A Region IV District 31 game, on Tuesday, January 3. Utopia will attempt to move on its 5-9 season record.

With the defeat, La Pryor moves to 2-5 on the year. The Bulldogs host Stockdale (Stockdale, TX) to face the Brahmas in a 2A Region IV District 30 game on Friday, December 30.
