Louisiana High School Basketball - Northwest tops LaGrange
December 20, 2022: Opelousas, LA 70570 Northwest Raiders (Opelousas, LA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting LaGrange Gators (Lake Charles, LA), 69-49 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Northwest upgrades its record to 4-2 on the campaign. The Raiders travel to Eunice (Eunice, LA) to play the Bobcats in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 4. The Bobcats come into the bout with a record of 5-1. Eunice won 59-57 in their recent non-league bout against Beau Chene (Arnaudville, LA)
Next up, the Gators play the Pineville Rebels (Pineville, LA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 22. LaGrange will attempt to upgrade on its 6-10 season record. The Rebels come into the bout with a 10-3 record after their 63-43 non-league win over Sterlington (Sterlington, LA).
