December 20, 2022: Naples, ME 04055 The Lake Region Lakers (Naples, ME) basketball felled the visiting Mountain Valley Falcons (Rumford, ME), 53-45 in Tuesday's league test.
The Lakers (2-1) will now prepare for their test against Massabesic (Waterboro, ME). The Mustangs go into the non-league test with a 0-4 record.
The Falcons now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Spruce Mountain for a B South test on Friday, December 23. Mountain Valley will encounter a Phoenix squad coming off a 51-40 non-league win over Monmouth Academy (Monmouth, ME). The Phoenix record now stands at 4-0.
