The Sinton Pirates basketball team scored 62 points and held the host London Pirates to 53 in the Pirates non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Pirates now sport a 7-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Oso for a 4A Region IV District 30 contest on Friday, December 30. Sinton will battle a Bears team coming off a 62-61 non-league win over Alice (Alice, TX). The Bears record now stands at 3-8.

The Pirates (12-4) will now prepare for their contest against Franklin (Franklin, TX). The Lions enter the non-league contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, Franklin ran past Elkhart (Elkhart, TX), 57-44, in a league contest.
