Stillwater Ponies (Stillwater, MN) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Mahtomedi Zephyrs (Mahtomedi, MN), 90-82 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Stillwater upgrades its record to 5-2 on the season. The Ponies host Hudson (Hudson, WI) to clash with the Raiders in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 22. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 6-1. Hudson won 50-38 in their recent league bout against Menomonie (Menomonie, WI)

Next up, the Zephyrs clash with the South St. Paul Packers (South St. Paul, MN) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 3. Mahtomedi will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record.
