River Ridge Royal Knights (New Port Richey, FL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Mulberry Panthers (Mulberry, FL), 72-62 in a non-league bout.

With the win, River Ridge upgrades its record to 6-3 on the season. The Royal Knights host Pasco (Dade City, FL) to play the Pirates in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 21. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 1-6. Pasco lost 59-56 in their recent league bout against Wesley Chapel (Wesley Chapel, FL)

Next up, the Panthers play the DeSoto County Bulldogs (Arcadia, FL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 3. Mulberry will attempt to upgrade on its 0-9 season record.
