In Tuesday's non-league match, the host Sunset Apollos basketball team scored a good 67-58 triumph over the South Eugene Axe.

In their next game, the Apollos meet the North Medford Black Tornado (Medford, OR) in a non-league match, on Wednesday, December 21. Sunset will attempt to move on its 2-5 season record.
