Louisiana High School Basketball - St. Thomas More holds off Wright
December 20, 2022: Lafayette, LA 70508 Spectators at Tuesday's non-league test between the St. Thomas More Cougars (Lafayette, LA) and the visiting Wright (New Orleans, LA), witnessed St. Thomas More's basketball squad nip Wright by a margin of 70-65.
The Cougars (10-2) will now prepare for their test against Archbishop Rummel (Metairie, LA). The Raiders go into the non-league test with a 10-3 record. In their last test, Archbishop Rummel got by White Castle (White Castle, LA), 70-46, in a non-league test.
The now own a 8-2 record. They play next when they travel to St. Louis Catholic for a non-league test on Wednesday, December 21. Wright will encounter a Saints squad coming off a 50-49 non-league win over Delhi (Delhi, LA). The Saints record now stands at 4-6.
