California High School Basketball - Union Mine overwhelms South Tahoe
December 20, 2022: El Dorado, CA 95623 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Union Mine Diamondbacks (El Dorado, CA) and the visiting South Tahoe Vikings (South Lake Tahoe, CA), saw Union Mine's basketball squad wallop South Tahoe by a count of 48-19.
With the victory, Union Mine upgrades its record to 3-8 on the campaign. The Diamondbacks travel to Laguna Creek (Elk Grove, CA) to play the Cardinals in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 22. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a record of 6-2. Laguna Creek won 68-45 in their recent non-league challenge against Sacramento (Sacramento, CA)
Next up, the Vikings play the Damonte Ranch Mustangs (Reno, NV) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 27. South Tahoe will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 6-2 record after their 57-45 league win over Carson (Carson City, NV).
