In Tuesday's non-league match, the host Blackman Blaze basketball team scored a decisive 72-44 triumph over the Middle Tennessee Christian Cougars.

In their next game, the Blaze meet the Stewarts Creek Red Hawks (Smyrna, TN) in a non-league match, on Wednesday, December 21. Blackman will attempt to move on its 9-2 season record. The Red Hawks enter the match with a 12-1 record after their 47-29 non-league win over Lipscomb Academy (Nashville, TN).
