Brookewood (Kensington, MD) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Maryland School for the Deaf Orioles (Frederick, MD), 47-38 in a league bout.

With the win, Brookewood upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The travel to Oakcrest (McLean, VA) to play the Chargers in a non-league bout on Wednesday, February 1. The Chargers go into the bout with a record of 7-2.
