Wisconsin High School Basketball - Tomahawk tops Chequamegon
December 20, 2022: Park Falls, WI 54552 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Tomahawk Hatchets (Tomahawk, WI) and the host Chequamegon Screaming Eagles (Park Falls, WI), saw Tomahawk's basketball squad knock off Chequamegon by a count of 55-43.
With the victory, Tomahawk upgrades its record to 2-7 on the campaign. The Hatchets host Lakeland (Minocqua, WI) to play the Thunderbirds in a Great Northern challenge on Tuesday, January 3. The Thunderbirds come into the challenge with a record of 7-3.
Next up, the Screaming Eagles play the Washburn Castle Guards (Washburn, WI) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 29. Chequamegon will attempt to upgrade on its 0-9 season record. The Castle Guards come into the challenge with a 1-4 record after their 55-50 league loss to Solon Springs (Solon Springs, WI).
