December 20, 2022: Hayward, CA 94545 The Cimarron-Memorial Spartans (Las Vegas, NV) basketball felled the host Mt. Eden Monarchs (Hayward, CA), 49-35 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Spartans (7-1) will now prepare for their test against Chaparral (Las Vegas, NV). The Cowboys go into the 4A Desert test with a 1-3 record. In their last test, Chaparral was beaten by Western (Las Vegas, NV), 42-19, in a non-league test.
The Monarchs now own a 1-6 record. They play next when they travel to Juneau-Douglas for a non-league test on Wednesday, December 21. Mt. Eden will encounter a Crimson Bears squad coming off a 40-39 non-league loss to Las Vegas (Las Vegas, NV). The Crimson Bears record now stands at 1-1.
