Michigan High School Basketball - Dearborn nips Salem
December 20, 2022: Canton, MI 48187 Dearborn Pioneers (Dearborn, MI) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Salem Rocks (Canton, MI), 51-47 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Dearborn upgrades its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Pioneers travel to Franklin (Livonia, MI) to play the Patriots in a Kensington Lakes - East bout on Thursday, December 22. The Patriots come into the bout with a record of 2-2. Franklin lost 52-12 in their recent non-league bout against Northville (Northville, MI)
Next up, the Rocks play the Brighton Bulldogs (Brighton, MI) in a Kensington Lakes - West bout, on Thursday, December 22. Salem will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a 2-3 record after their 61-32 non-league win over Fordson (Dearborn, MI).
