December 20, 2022: Camilla, GA 31730 The Fitzgerald Purple Hurricane (Fitzgerald, GA) basketball knocked off the host Westwood Wildcats (Camilla, GA), 54-35 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Purple Hurricane (3-4) will now prepare for their test against Turner County (Ashburn, GA). The Titans go into the non-league test with a 9-1 record. In their last test, Turner County notched a victory over Terrell County (Dawson, GA), 63-20, in a non-league test.
The Wildcats now own a 0-7 record. They play next when they travel to Grace Christian Academy for a non-league test on Thursday, December 29. Westwood will encounter a Cougars squad coming off a 39-36 non-league win over Byne Christian (Albany, GA). The Cougars record now stands at 5-4.
