The Union Academy Cardinals basketball team (Monroe, NC), dropped 63-50 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Lake Norman Charter Knights (Huntersville, NC)

The Knights now sport a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Community School of Davidson for a non-league battle on Wednesday, December 28. Lake Norman Charter will battle a Spartans team coming off a 54-21 league win over Bradford Prep (Charlotte, NC). The Spartans record now stands at 4-5.

The Cardinals (6-3) will now prepare for their battle against Lincoln Charter (Denver, NC). The Eagles come into the non-league battle with a 8-4 record. In their last battle, Lincoln Charter prevailed over Bradford Prep (Charlotte, NC), 59-11, in a league battle.
