Maryland High School Basketball - Western Tech & Environmental Science can't hold off Leonardtown

December 20, 2022: Leonardtown, MD 20650

The Leonardtown Raiders basketball team scored 42 points and held the visiting Western Tech & Environmental Science Wolverines to 38 in the Raiders non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Raiders now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host King's Christian Academy for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 21. Leonardtown will battle a team coming off a 72-30 non-league loss to St. Anne's-Belfield (Charlottesville, VA). The record now stands at 4-3.

The Wolverines (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Mount de Sales Academy (Catonsville, MD). The Sailors enter the non-league contest with a 2-6 record. In their last contest, Mount de Sales Academy was nudged by Goretti (Hagerstown, MD), 46-44, in a non-league contest.
