The Logan Longhorns basketball team scored 44 points and held the host Tucumcari Rattlers to 35 in the Longhorns non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Longhorns now sport a 8-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Clayton for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 29. Logan will battle a Yellowjackets team coming off a 48-27 non-league win over Penasco (Penasco, NM). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 10-1.

The Rattlers (6-2) will now prepare for their contest against Raton (Raton, NM). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 3-6 record. In their last contest, Raton was defeated by Pojoaque Valley (Pojoaque, NM), 35-31, in a non-league contest.
