Minnesota High School Basketball - New Prague tops Worthington
December 20, 2022: New Prague, MN 56071 New Prague Trojans (New Prague, MN) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Worthington Trojans (Worthington, MN), 62-47 in a league bout.
With the victory, New Prague upgrades its record to 6-1 on the campaign. The Trojans host Proctor (Proctor, MN) to face the Rails in a non-league game on Tuesday, December 27. The Rails enter the game with a record of 6-2. Proctor lost 62-59 in their recent non-league game against Rock Ridge co-op [Eveleth-Gilbert/Virginia] (Eveleth, MN)
With the defeat, Worthington moves to 1-5 on the year. The Trojans travel to New Ulm (New Ulm, MN) to face the Eagles in a AAA Section 2 game on Thursday, January 12. The Eagles enter the game with a record of 4-2.
