December 20, 2022: Raton, NM 87740 The Texline Tornadoes (Texline, TX) basketball nipped the host Raton Tigers (Raton, NM), 43-37 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Tornadoes (4-9) will now prepare for their test against Sanford-Fritch (Fritch, TX). The Eagles go into the non-league test with a 10-3 record. In their last test, Sanford-Fritch got by River Road (Amarillo, TX), 45-34, in a non-league test.
The Tigers now own a 3-5 record. They play next when they host Pojoaque Valley for a non-league test on Wednesday, December 21. Raton will encounter a Elks/Elkettes squad coming off a 30-26 non-league loss to Crownpoint (Crownpoint, NM). The Elks/Elkettes record now stands at 5-5.
