December 20, 2022: Albuquerque, NM 87107 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Cibola Cougars (Albuquerque, NM) and the host Valley Vikings (Albuquerque, NM), saw Cibola's basketball squad hold off Valley by a tally of 60-53.
With the victory, Cibola improves its record to 4-2 on the campaign. The Cougars host West Mesa (Albuquerque, NM) to play the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 5. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 7-0. West Mesa won 70-33 in their recent non-league challenge against Manzano (Albuquerque, NM)
Next up, the Vikings play the Atrisco Heritage Academy Jaguars (Albuquerque, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, December 21. Valley will attempt to improve on its 3-3 season record. The Jaguars come into the challenge with a 2-5 record after their 57-54 non-league loss to Manzano (Albuquerque, NM).
