North Carolina High School Basketball - West Caldwell nips Patton
December 20, 2022: Morganton, NC 28655 West Caldwell Warriors (Lenoir, NC) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Patton Panthers (Morganton, NC), 51-49 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, West Caldwell upgrades its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Warriors host Bunker Hill (Claremont, NC) to play the Bears in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 22. The Bears come into the bout with a record of 2-4. Bunker Hill lost 46-35 in their recent non-league bout against Lincolnton (Lincolnton, NC)
Next up, the Panthers play the Hibriten Panthers (Lenoir, NC) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 20. Patton will attempt to upgrade on its 5-4 season record. The Panthers come into the bout with a 5-1 record after their 55-51 non-league win over West Caldwell (Lenoir, NC).
