Missouri High School Basketball - Cassville can't hold off Blue Eye
December 20, 2023: Blue Eye, MO 65611 The Blue Eye Bulldogs basketball team scored 61 points and held the visiting Cassville Wildcats to 57 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 9-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to New Covenant Academy for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 4. Blue Eye will battle a Warriors team coming off a 87-37 non-league loss to Valley Springs (Valley Springs, AR). The Warriors record now stands at 2-6.
The Wildcats (4-6) will now prepare for their contest against Reeds Spring (Reeds Spring, MO). The Wolves enter the Big 8 contest with a 1-6 record. In their last contest, Reeds Spring was nudged by Spokane (Spokane, MO), 57-45, in a non-league contest.
