Massachusetts High School Basketball - Central fells Longmeadow
December 20, 2023: Springfield, MA 01109 Central Golden Eagles (Springfield, MA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Longmeadow Lancers (Longmeadow, MA), 73-54 in a league bout.
With the win, Central upgrades its record to 4-0 on the season. The Golden Eagles travel to Archbishop Williams (Braintree, MA) to play the Bishops in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 27. The Bishops go into the bout with a record of 2-1. Archbishop Williams lost 70-60 in their recent non-league bout against Scituate (Scituate, MA)
Next up, the Lancers play the East Longmeadow Spartans (East Longmeadow, MA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 21. Longmeadow will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Spartans go into the bout with a 2-1 record after their 59-41 non-league win over West Springfield (West Springfield, MA).
