December 20, 2023: Chillicothe, MO 64601 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Parkview Vikings (Springfield, MO) and the host Chillicothe Hornets (Chillicothe, MO), saw Parkview's basketball squad overcome Chillicothe by a tally of 51-43.
With the victory, Parkview improves its record to 4-2 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Hillcrest (Springfield, MO) to confront the Hornets in a Ozarks challenge on Tuesday, January 2. The Hornets come into the challenge with a record of 4-3. Hillcrest won 49-35 in their recent non-league challenge against Smith-Cotton (Sedalia, MO)
Next up, the Hornets confront the Bishop LeBlond Eagles (St. Joseph, MO) in a Midland Empire challenge, on Thursday, January 4. Chillicothe will attempt to improve on its 5-3 season record.
