Georgia High School Basketball - South Pittsburg topples Dade County
December 20, 2023: Trenton, GA 30752 In Wednesday's non-league outing, the South Pittsburg Pirates (South Pittsburg, TN) basketball squad beat the host Dade County Wolverines (Trenton, GA), by a count of 54-35.
The Pirates (7-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Grundy County (Coalmont, TN). The Yellowjackets come into the non-league challenge with a 10-1 record. In their last challenge, Grundy County toppled Signal Mountain (Signal Mountain, TN), 64-58, in a non-league challenge.
Next up, the Wolverines play the Darlington Tigers (Rome, GA) in a A D1 Region 7 challenge, on Friday, January 5. Dade County will attempt to improve on its 5-6 season record.
