December 20, 2023: Reserve, LA 70084 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the East St. John Wildcats (Reserve, LA) and the visiting West Jefferson Buccaneers (Harvey, LA), saw East St. John's basketball squad overcome West Jefferson by a tally of 67-53.
With the victory, East St. John improves its record to 4-6 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Westminster Academy (Opelousas, LA) to confront the Crusaders in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 21. The Crusaders come into the challenge with a record of 6-5. Westminster Academy won 52-49 in their recent league challenge against Opelousas Catholic (Opelousas, LA)
Next up, the Buccaneers confront the South Plaquemines Hurricanes (Buras, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 28. West Jefferson will attempt to improve on its 5-9 season record. The Hurricanes come into the challenge with a 7-8 record after their 70-68 non-league win over Cohen (New Orleans, LA).
