Missouri High School Basketball - Hermitage fells Slater
December 20, 2023: Hermitage, MO 65668 Hermitage Hornets (Hermitage, MO) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Slater Wildcats (Slater, MO), 71-57 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Hermitage upgrades its record to 8-4 on the season. The Hornets host Northeast Vernon County (Walker, MO) to play the Knights in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 16. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 2-7.
Next up, the Wildcats play the Smithton Tigers (Smithton, MO) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 2. Slater will attempt to upgrade on its 4-8 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 5-5 record after their 52-39 league win over Otterville (Otterville, MO).
