Liberty Magnet Patriots (Baton Rouge, LA) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Notre Dame Prep Saints (Scottsdale, AZ), 59-56 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Liberty Magnet upgrades its record to 12-2 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Weston Ranch (Stockton, CA) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 21. The Cougars come into the bout with a record of 6-1. Weston Ranch won 74-60 in their recent non-league bout against West Ranch (Valencia, CA)

Next up, the Saints play the West Ranch Wildcats (Valencia, CA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 21. Notre Dame Prep will attempt to upgrade on its 9-2 season record. The Wildcats come into the bout with a 7-4 record after their 74-60 non-league loss to Weston Ranch (Stockton, CA).
