December 20, 2023: Atlanta, GA 30319 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Marist War Eagles (Atlanta, GA) and the visiting Walnut Grove Warriors (Walnut Grove, GA), saw Marist's basketball squad knock off Walnut Grove by a count of 71-52.
With the victory, Marist upgrades its record to 5-4 on the campaign. The War Eagles travel to T.L. Hanna (Anderson, SC) to play the Yellow Jackets in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 21. The Yellow Jackets come into the challenge with a record of 11-3. T.L. Hanna won 74-71 in their recent non-league challenge against Mountain View (Lawrenceville, GA)
Next up, the Warriors play the Mountain View Bears (Lawrenceville, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 21. Walnut Grove will attempt to upgrade on its 8-2 season record. The Bears come into the challenge with a 6-5 record after their 74-71 non-league loss to T.L. Hanna (Anderson, SC).
