December 20, 2023: Shelton, CT 06484 Masuk Panthers (Monroe, CT) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Shelton Gaels (Shelton, CT), 51-44 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Masuk upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Panthers host St. Joseph (Trumbull, CT) to clash with the Cadets in a non-league bout on Friday, December 22. The Cadets go into the bout with a record of 0-1. St. Joseph lost 76-49 in their recent non-league bout against Notre Dame Catholic (Fairfield, CT)
Next up, the Gaels clash with the Notre Dame Green Knights (West Haven, CT) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 22. Shelton will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Green Knights go into the bout with a 2-0 record after their 65-52 non-league win over West Haven (West Haven, CT).
