In Wednesday's non-league match, the visiting Mount Vernon Patriots basketball team scored a good 76-61 triumph over the Tikigaq Harpooners.

In their next game, the Patriots meet the Juneau-Douglas Crimson Bears (Juneau, AK) in a non-league match, on Thursday, December 21. Mount Vernon will attempt to move on its 2-7 season record.
