The Willow Lions basketball team scored 79 points and held the visiting Riverside Academy Rebels to 42 in the Lions non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Lions now sport a 5-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Livingston Collegiate Academy for a non-league contest on Friday, December 22. Willow will meet a Wolves team coming off a 59-55 non-league loss to Pope John Paul II (Slidell, LA). The Wolves record now stands at 0-7.

The Rebels (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Brother Martin (New Orleans, LA). The Crusaders enter the non-league contest with a 10-2 record. In their last contest, Brother Martin triumphed over Bonnabel (Kenner, LA), 55-53, in a non-league contest.
