North Carolina High School Basketball - Apex Friendship over Sanderson

Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Apex Friendship Patriots (Apex, NC) and the visiting Sanderson Spartans (Raleigh, NC), saw Apex Friendship's basketball squad overcome Sanderson by a tally of 43-33.

With the victory, Apex Friendship improves its record to 5-3 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Southern Durham (Durham, NC) to confront the Spartans in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 21. The Spartans come into the challenge with a record of 4-1. Southern Durham won 65-39 in their recent non-league challenge against East Chapel Hill (Chapel Hill, NC)

Next up, the Spartans confront the Wake Forest Cougars (Wake Forest, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 5. Sanderson will attempt to improve on its 2-7 season record. The Cougars come into the contest with a 6-2 record after their 90-10 non-league win over Northern Durham (Durham, NC).
