Tennessee High School Basketball - Cheatham County Central tops Davidson Academy
December 20, 2023: Nashville, TN 37207 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Cheatham County Central Cubs (Ashland City, TN) and the host Davidson Academy Bears (Nashville, TN), saw Cheatham County Central's basketball squad knock off Davidson Academy by a count of 54-39.
With the victory, Cheatham County Central upgrades its record to 11-1 on the campaign. The Cubs travel to Father Ryan (Nashville, TN) to play the Irish in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 21. The Irish come into the challenge with a record of 7-0. Father Ryan won 68-28 in their recent non-league challenge against Tennessee Heat (Nashville, TN)
Next up, the Bears play the Ezell-Harding Christian Eagles (Antioch, TN) in a Division II-A Middle District 4 challenge, on Thursday, January 4. Davidson Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 3-7 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 9-4 record after their 53-51 non-league loss to Lipscomb Academy (Nashville, TN).
