Ohio High School Basketball - Copley holds off Solon
December 20, 2023: Solon, OH 44139 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Copley Indians (Copley, OH) and the host Solon Comets (Solon, OH), saw Copley's basketball squad hold off Solon by a tally of 52-48.
With the victory, Copley improves its record to 8-0 on the campaign. The Indians host Magnificat (Rocky River, OH) to confront the Blue Streaks in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 22. The Blue Streaks come into the challenge with a record of 4-2. Magnificat won 62-28 in their recent non-league challenge against Westlake (Westlake, OH)
Next up, the Comets confront the Marysville Monarchs (Marysville, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 29. Solon will attempt to improve on its 6-1 season record. The Monarchs come into the challenge with a 7-1 record after their 56-38 league win over Dublin Jerome (Dublin, OH).
