Ohio High School Basketball - Fort Frye thwarts Frontier

The Fort Frye Cadets (Beverly, OH) basketball knocked off the host Frontier Cougars (New Matamoras, OH), 45-28 in Wednesday's non-league test.

The Cadets (7-2) will now prepare for their test against Federal Hocking (Stewart, OH). The Lancers go into the non-league test with a 7-2 record. In their last test, Federal Hocking notched a victory over Waterford (Waterford, OH), 44-38, in a league test.

The Cougars now own a 5-2 record. They play next when they travel to St. Marys for a non-league test on Thursday, December 28. Frontier will encounter a Blue Devils squad coming off a 78-14 league win over Magnolia (New Martinsville, WV). The Blue Devils record now stands at 6-1.
