Connecticut High School Basketball - Hillhouse trounced by St. Joseph
December 20, 2023: Trumbull, CT 06611 In Wednesday's non-league match, the host St. Joseph Cadets basketball team scored a decisive 71-28 triumph over the Hillhouse Academics.
In their next game, the Cadets face the Staples Wreckers (Westport, CT) in a Fairfield County match, on Friday, December 22. St. Joseph will attempt to move on its 3-0 season record. The Wreckers enter the match with a 2-1 record after their 47-37 non-league win over Bethel (Bethel, CT).
With the defeat, Hillhouse moves to 1-3 on the year. The Academics travel to Lauralton Hall (Milford, CT) to face the Crusaders in a Southern Connecticut - Oronoque match on Friday, December 22. The Crusaders enter the match with a record of 1-3. Lauralton Hall lost 68-38 in their recent non-league match against Mercy (Middletown, CT)
