Michigan High School Basketball - Kettering nips Lamphere
December 20, 2023: Madison Heights, MI 48071 Kettering Captains (Waterford, MI) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Lamphere Rams (Madison Heights, MI), 34-31 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Kettering upgrades its record to 1-2 on the season. The Captains host Pontiac (Pontiac, MI) to play the Phoenix in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 21. The Phoenix go into the bout with a record of 2-1. Pontiac won 49-33 in their recent non-league bout against Cardinal Mooney Catholic (Marine City, MI)
Next up, the Rams play the Warren Woods-Tower Titans (Warren, MI) in a Macomb Area - Silver bout, on Friday, January 5. Lamphere will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Titans go into the bout with a 1-5 record after their 43-25 non-league loss to Cousino (Warren, MI).
