Virginia High School Basketball - Liberty can't hold off Mountain View
December 20, 2023: Bealeton, VA 22712 The Mountain View Wildcats basketball team scored 37 points and held the host Liberty Eagles to 31 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Wildcats now sport a 6-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Brooke Point for a Commonwealth contest on Friday, January 5. Mountain View will battle a Black Hawks team coming off a 59-14 non-league loss to Riverside (Leesburg, VA). The Black Hawks record now stands at 1-7.
The Eagles (0-7) will now prepare for their contest against James Wood (Winchester, VA). The Colonels enter the Northwestern contest with a 3-6 record. In their last contest, James Wood was nudged by Millbrook (Winchester, VA), 61-22, in a league contest.
