December 20, 2023: Oil City, PA 16301 The Oil City Oilers basketball team (Oil City, PA), was overwhelmed 76-32 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the visiting Wilmington Greyhounds (New Wilmington, PA)
The Greyhounds now possess a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ellwood City for a non-league battle on Friday, December 22. Wilmington will battle a Wolverine team coming off a 60-35 non-league loss to Aliquippa (Aliquippa, PA). The Wolverine record now stands at 5-2.
The Oilers (3-3) will now prepare for their battle against Harbor Creek (Harborcreek, PA). The Huskies come into the non-league battle with a 3-1 record. In their last battle, Harbor Creek was overwhelmed by Mercyhurst Prep (Erie, PA), 60-20, in a non-league battle.
