December 20, 2023: Baltimore, MD 21219 Sparrows Point Pointers (Baltimore, MD) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Patapsco Patriots (Baltimore, MD), 53-27 in a league bout.
With the win, Sparrows Point upgrades its record to 10-2 on the season. The Pointers travel to Chesapeake (Baltimore, MD) to clash with the Bay Hawks in a Baltimore County 2 bout on Wednesday, January 3. The Bay Hawks go into the bout with a record of 4-3. Chesapeake lost 53-49 in their recent non-league bout against Woodlawn (Baltimore, MD)
Next up, the Patriots clash with the Joppatowne Mariners (Joppa, MD) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 27. Patapsco will attempt to upgrade on its 0-8 season record. The Mariners go into the bout with a 2-6 record after their 36-24 non-league loss to C. Milton Wright (Bel Air, MD).
