December 20, 2023: Florence, AL 35634 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Saint James Trojans (Montgomery, AL) and the host Rogers Pirates (Florence, AL), saw Saint James's basketball squad knock off Rogers by a tally of 52-41.
With the victory, Saint James improves its record to 10-3 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Orange Beach (Orange Beach, AL) to play the Makos in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 22. The Makos come into the challenge with a record of 8-8. Orange Beach won 49-36 in their recent non-league challenge against Huntsville (Huntsville, AL)
Next up, the Pirates play the Mars Hill Bible Panthers (Florence, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, December 27. Rogers will attempt to improve on its 6-5 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 7-2 record after their 71-54 non-league loss to Summertown (Summertown, TN).
