December 20, 2023: Lawndale, NC 28090 The Polk County Wolverines basketball team (Columbus, NC), was overwhelmed 68-35 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the host Burns Bulldogs (Lawndale, NC)
The Bulldogs now possess a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Highland Tech for a battle on Wednesday, January 3. Burns will confront a Rams team coming off a 51-31 non-league win over Pinnacle Classical Academy (Shelby, NC). The Rams record now stands at 1-8.
The Wolverines (0-4) will now prepare for their battle against Hendersonville (Hendersonville, NC). The Bearcats come into the non-league battle with a 4-1 record.
