Washington, DC High School Basketball - Jackson-Reed holds off Dunbar
December 20, 2023: Washington, DC 20001 Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Jackson-Reed Tigers (Washington, DC) and the host Dunbar Crimson Tide (Washington, DC), saw Jackson-Reed's basketball squad hold off Dunbar by a tally of 64-61.
With the victory, Jackson-Reed improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Tigers host Alexandria City (Alexandria, VA) to confront the Titans in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 27. The Titans come into the challenge with a record of 2-5.
Next up, the Crimson Tide confront the Suitland Rams (Forestville, MD) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 22. Dunbar will attempt to improve on its 4-2 season record.
