Georgia High School Basketball - Stockbridge topped by Eagle's Landing
December 20, 2023: McDonough, GA 30253 The Eagle's Landing Eagles basketball team scored 49 points and restricted the visiting Stockbridge Tigers to 34 in the Eagles non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Eagles now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Union Grove for a contest on Friday, January 5. Eagle's Landing will battle a Wolverines team coming off a 59-57 non-league win over Griffin (Griffin, GA). The Wolverines record now stands at 9-1.
The Tigers (4-8) will now prepare for their contest against Arabia Mountain (Lithonia, GA). The Rams come into the non-league contest with a 7-2 record. In their last contest, Arabia Mountain was defeated by Woodland (Stockbridge, GA), 51-48, in a non-league contest.
